Hi!
My name is Zoé, and I’m a Greek-American artist based in Chicago. My mom is an opera singer and my dad is a poet, so I grew up with a passion for the arts and a desire to expand my interests and abilities, driving me toward a career in acting. Since graduating from The Theatre School at DePaul University’s BFA Acting Program in 2024, I have cultivated and refined my skills in theatre, film, and commercial performance, voiceover work, dance, musical theatre, opera, and cabaret singing, while also discovering my interests in directing, playwriting, and producing.
In terms of my work, I’m all about crafting performances and stories that are authentic, intelligent, and detailed. I’m really inspired by Meisner specifically, and bring his practices, as well as the vocal and movement techniques I learned while in school, to every character I play, which helps me craft highly specific and tailored performances. While I do love preparing for a role on my own, I also love learning new things in performance spaces and collaborating, and I try to bring passion, a hard working attitude, honesty, and kindness to everything I do.
When I’m not acting and creating, I love to read, study up on political theory and philosophy, hang with my roommate, watch movies, and listen to music on my Discman.

As an actor, I am currently in the process of shooting a proof-of-concept for Bare, a feature film set to shoot in 2025 and premiere in 2026, where I play Maude, a lonely woman battling depression and guilt alone in her apartment. Additionally, my one woman show, My Last Day Alive, is set to premiere from April 18-20th at The Labyrinth Club. Finally, two short films that I acted in recently in 2024, Pieces & Bonds and Brainstorm, are set to come out in 2025, as is a short film I starred in in 2023, Later, and two animation shorts I provided voices for in 2024, Duck & The Office Crush.
As a singer, I am currently in the process of assembling my one-woman cabaret show, “Does This Song Make Me Look Dramatic?”, set to premiere in 2025. I will also be opening for Lexa Maxa on May 14th at 8pm at Davenport’s Piano Bar and Cabaret, which is also my Chicago Cabaret Week debut! Finally, you can see me in Chicago Cabaret Professional’s Musical Monday Cabaret on March 24th at the Rhapsody Theatre, performing songs by Stephen Schwartz and Stevie Wonder.
As a writer, I have recently completed writing my second full-length play, In Pursuit Of, which I am now submitting to festivals, and am co-writing a short film, Marble Faun, for 640 Film Collective. Additionally, Sub Rosa Theatre Collective has commissioned a play from me for their upcoming 2025-2026 season, which I am currently working on and will have more details about soon!

As an actor, I recently acted in two short films toward the end of 2024, Brainstorm, produced by Broken Radiator Collective, and Pieces & Bonds, produced by DePaul University. In November, I also recently began workshopping my one-woman show, Énouement, which has been picked up and is set to be produced in April of 2025. In December, I was cast in and began shooting a proof-of-concept for a feature film (set to shoot in 2025), Bare. Other film work from 2024 includes Later (set to premiere 2025), Duck (animated short set to premiere 2025), The Office Crush (animated short set to premiere 2025), and Crying in the Club (released Spring of 2024).
Most recently as a singer, I was hired to perform three songs (Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, The Man with the Bag, and You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch) in a Holiday cabaret show, Yule Love It!, on December 15 with Chicago Cabaret Professionals, directed by the president of CCP, Carla Gordon. I was also selected to perform There’s Always Tomorrow in CCP’s Merry Measures at Davenport’s on December 4. In October, I came in second place for Davenport’s 1000 Dollar Sing Off for my performance of Glitter and Be Gay, and in September, I sang Lost and the Brass and I’m A Stranger Here Myself with Acts of Kindness Cabaret. Finally, in August, I was named a finalist for the Emerging Artists Scholarship, and performed a three song mini-set (Twisted, The Child Is Gone, and Corner of the Sky/The Spark of Creation) at the Emerging Artists Showcase.
As a director, my production of An Enemy of the People, which I directed and adapted, had a successful, sold out run at The Den Theatre in May of 2024. Find out more here. You can also read the review here.
As a writer, I recently held a reading of my new full-length play, In Pursuit Of, at the Emerald City Café, which also received stellar reviews. Find out more here.

As a singer, I have most recently been recognized as the second place winner of Davenport’s 1000 Dollar Sing-Off for my performance of Glitter and Be Gay in October. I was also lucky enough to perform a three song mini-set as a finalist for the Emerging Artists Showcase in August of 2024.
As a director, my production of An Enemy of the People, which I directed and adapted, was reviewed as “a smashing and enthralling performance that is not to be missed.” As a writer, a reading of my new play, In Pursuit Of was reviewed as a show that “does not pull punches in portraying the destructive nihilism that permeates modern masculinity, but also refuses to dehumanize and deny agency to the protagonist.”
As an actor, my 2021 performance as Cathy and direction of The Last Five Years was reviewed as "a celebration of what artists of all ages can accomplish with a little vision and elbow grease."
Finally, for my work as a theatrical leader and producer, I was named the recipient of the prestigious 2024 Donald M. Ephraim Award in June. The award is given to an artist who has “demonstrated exceptional leadership within The Theatre School community and an interest in shaping the entertainment industry through the work of their career.” I was also fortunate enough to receive the 2023-2024 Sarah Siddons Scholarship Award in March for my leadership. Shortly thereafter, I performed with Sarah Siddons at their 2024 Swell Soiree, and have now been honored to be selected as the newest member of the Sarah Siddons board. Read more here. Additionally, in 2018, I was recognized with the Junior Women of Achievement Award from Cribs for Kids for my non-profit work and artistic leadership. I started an organization called the Young Artist’s Foundation, which raised money for music and arts education across the United States through self-produced, student-led concerts and other performances. Learn more here. I was also awarded the 2020 Zelda Wilmurt Drama Prize for my leadership within the drama community in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
